Cleveland is right there with Milwaukee in the Central Division. A fast finish could net them the #2 spot in the Eastern Conference. However, they are only 2-4 in their last six game though and getting right at Indiana is going to be a tough task. Their injury list is once again long and impressive (including Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley). Indiana has won four of six and there is some upward mobility for them in the East if they finish strong. The teams behind them are not far off either. How they finish the last four weeks of the season will determine whether they are guaranteed a full playoff series or not (the Play-In is a real possibility). Guard Ty Haliburton is having a great season but he has struggled to get back to where he was before he got hurt.
The Cavs are 20-12 SU on the road this season, yet still significant underdogs on Monday night. Indiana has won and covered the first two meetings of the season and that was when the Cavs were much healthier than they are right now. The Pacers should be able to get the flow of this game where they want it and while they probably will not run Cleveland off the floor, they will make it very tough for them to keep up.
